Dr. Anastasia Gekopoulou completed her medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and subsequently completed her specialization in Cardiology at the University Hospital of Cologne (Germany).

She specializes in interventional cardiology as well as advanced echocardiography (Color Doppler/Triplex, transesophageal echocardiography/TEE, stress echo). During her tenure as an Attending Physician (Oberärztin) at the Maria-Hilf-Krankenhaus in Bergheim, she gained extensive clinical experience in acute and emergency cardiology—ranging from the management of acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, and cardiogenic shock to life-threatening arrhythmias.

Furthermore, she holds an Executive Master of Science in Cardiovascular Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). Since 2022, she has been an associate and attending physician at YGEIA Hospital, and since 2026, she has also been working with Faliro Medical Center.
